A.Vision
To become a superior study program in building national civilization, by developing science, technology and human resources with integrity in the field of Sharia banking and finance based on Islam and Muhammadiyah.
B. Mission
1. Organizing professional and competitive education and teaching in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah.
2. Conducting Research, Development of the latest Science and Technology to improve competence in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah.
3. Conducting Community Service independently and providing sustainable benefits in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah.
C. Objective
Programm The Sharia Banking Study Program of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara has the following objectives:
1. Producing professional economics graduates in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance with creative, innovative, independent, personality and responsible competencies based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah.
2. Producing competent economics graduates in research and development in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance.
3. Producing research and scientific works in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance at national and international levels for the development of science and technology.
4. Producing scientific works in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance as a form of concern for society in general and the world of banking in particular.
5. Realizing a sustainable regional and national cooperation network in the field of Sharia Banking and Finance.
6. Integrating of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values in every academic activity, both in banking and teaching activities and in related activities.

1. Producing Bachelor of Economics graduates who are competitive and have moral integrity and soft skills according to the needs of the user community.
